December beauty haul - new in #28

In december I spent a lot of my money for gifts, but I still manage to buy some bits and bobs for myself, because I reeeeealllly neded all of this :)

Lush - Snow Fairy shower gel
Lush - Father Christmas bath bomb
Bomb Cosmetics - Cotton Candy bath bomb

Those three products are totally up my alley, because they have a sweet scent. Especially Snow Fairy, which smells like bubble gum. I also love the scent that stay in the bathroom after showering with it. I haven't used any of those bath bombs, but I think I will soon, because they both look very tempting.

I have always wanted to try out Cowshed products, but they are too expensive. I was so happy when I found them on sale, so I went a little overboard with my purchase. I've bought myself  Knackered Cow relaxing body lotion, Saucy Cow softening conditioner, which I have already tested and I love it so much, I think I will order myself a few more bottles to have them in stock. For my hands I got Cow Slip hand cream. So far I really like all of them. I have to say that the scents are not for everybody, because they are all natural with essential oils, but I love them. With my purchase I gor a free sample of Steamcream. Company Le Couvent des Minimes also sent me a pack of their samples.

Jessica  Sass & Sparkle - 855 Show Stopper nail polish
Essie - jiggle hi jiggle low nail polish, which I'm planning to wear on new year's eve
Essence - like a bad girl fragnance
Essence Come to town - 02 Naughty or nice? quattro eyeshadow
Deborah Milano red laque lipstick - 7
Garnier micellar cleansing water

What I gor for christmas?

Apparently I was very good, because Santa brought me so many goodies:)

I'v got a lot of the things I wished for here. My parents got me a new Gorenje blender, which I will go and try out as soon as I finish writing this post.  My fiancee surprised me with a Naked 2 palette. I have tried it out and I love it to pieces (proper review will follow). He also got me a candle that looked like it's made out of wool. My brother got me Braun clensing brush + mini epilator (do you want a review?). And from my friends I got The body shop strawberry shower gel, strawberry body puree and a bath lily, I love strawberries so this is perfect for me. They also gor me a bath bomb from the brand Bomb cosmetics, I Am Sexy yeshadows palette with a lipstick - I <3 makeup, Makeup Revolution - I want you mono yeshadow and a Nail art neon confetti 06 party animal nailpolish. I also gor some money from my parents and from my dear's parents.
They all surprised me, because I never imagined I would get so much.

Secret Santa

I have been participating in Secret Santa gift swaping for some years now. We organized one at some forum, which is not so active anymore, but we remained friends so we deicided that we will have one this year as well. This is a gift I got from my Santa Vera:

I'm a huge fan of shower gel (I won't count them, because there's too many of them:p) so I was happy to add this one to my collection because it smells amazing! I also love baths, so Balea bathstick is perfect for me, this one smells great too. Everybody needs glitter in their life, right? And if it's purple is even better. My nailpolish collection is big, but I don't have any she ones (not in their new package). The last thing is essence glossy lipbalm, which is so damn cute. Thank you Vera :)

                                                                            *

This year Slovenian beauty bloggers organized a Secret Santa as well.  Živa was kind enough to organize it all. I recieved my gift from lovely Aleksandra. This is a package that she sent to me:

As a huge candle and everything sweet smelling lover I first noticed, or better say smellt wax melts from brand called O.W.N. candles which is actually Slovenian brand and this is my first product of that rand. My waxes are melon & strawberry scented, and let me tell you that they smell perfect! I think I need to buy more of their products. They also look very cute, because they are in a shape of roses. Next thing is this unique blue necklace, such an interesting piece. Another two items are Kiko nailpolish and flormar lipstick. I'm planning to wear them on new year's eve. She also sent me a Marionnaud eyeshadow palette. When I opened it I was stunned because all the colours are amazing! The palette itself is also very pretty, very festive. Thank you Aleksandra for such a nice gift :)

Beauty box: Chic things for smart girls

You all probably know how beauty boxes work? You order a box full of beauty related goodies, but you don't know what you will get. I was so happy that they were finally available in Slovenia. You can order yours at Click2chic.si. At first, all of the products were hidden, but I deicided to trust them and ordered it anyway. When they reveal the first product, I was extremely happy that I ordered it, because it was Revlon colorstay moisture stain, which have been on my wishlist since it came out. They slowly revealed each product and I couldn't wait till I get my box in the mail.

I have always been a fan of Subrina, so I was happy to get their shower gel spicy orange. I prefer sweater scents, but this one will be great for winter.

There were also three items for hair. First is Alfaparf  Milano shampoo. I have never heard of this brand, so I can't wait to try it out. We have all heard about Moroccanoil right? In the box we got a sample of  it's version for light hair. I have already tried it (even though) my hair is dark, and I really liked it. It made my hair so soft and smooth. I also like that even it's sample size, you get a lot of product. Next item is Subrina Haircode hair spray. I don't use hair sprays, so I will give it to my mom.

Next two products were the cutest in the bunch. Revlon colorstay moisture stain was the item I was the most excited for. I got the shade 020 Rio rush (I think we didn't all get the same one). Mine is very pink, a shade I wouldn't normaly go for, but that's the beauty of those boxes, to try something new and let me tell you, I actually really like this shade. We also got Bomb cosmetics Candy box soap which is just too cute. Another plus is that it's handmade and natural.

Lastly, we got a pretty box with five L'erbolario samples. I'm a sucker for nice packages and I find those very pretty. If my italian is any good I would say that those are perfume, shower gels and body lotions.

My Christmas wishlist

Naked On The Run Gorenje blender Clarisonic Mia 2 Click2chic beauty box Lush lip scrub Lush christmas collection Benefit the POREfessional primer

I put together a collage of a few things that I really want. Of course as I grow older the things I want the most can't really be bought, but I still have some things on my wishlist. I think that you can never go wrong with Lush products. They have some really cute bath bombs in their new collection. I really like Snow fairy sparkle, which is actually a shimmer bar that smells great. I really like sweet scents so I also like Candy mountain bubble bar and The christmas penguin which is so cute. My lips would appreciate Bubblegum lip scrub, because they are not in the best shape during this cold weather. Next thing is probably on most of your wishlist, it's Clarisonic Mia 2 face cleansing brush. I know it's a bit pricey, but my face needs it! Next thing is also for my face, Benefit the POREfessional primer, I think you all know that this is a must for those of us with bigger pores. I have always wanted to subscribe for a beauty box, but they were never available in Slovenia, so imagine my happines when click2chic announce their brand new beauty box. I actually already ordered it, but I think my brother will go to the post and pay for it and gave it to me as a christmas present (Tim, hint hint^^). Now the thing that my parent agreed to get me, it's new blender from a brand Gorenje. We have one at home, but it's pretty old, so I would love to get a new one with sharper blades. Last thing is probably something that have been on my wishlist forever. My dear was probably sick of listening to me going on and on about Naked palletes, so this year he deicided to get me one. I'm still deiciding between one of the three eyeshadow palletes or their new on the run one. Help? Which one would you pick?

Fall favourites

I haven't written a favourites post for some months now, so that's why I want to share with you some of my fall necessties. I have already started with listening to christmas songs and putting up fairy lights, so fall is over in my book, but we had a lovely fall. This year the temperatures were just perfect, not too cold, not too hot. There's no doubt that this kind of fall is my favourite! Now to the products that I have been loving recently.

When colder months come it's time for me to pay extra attention to my lips, because they get dry and chapped easily. I rediscover Labello lip butter vanilla & macadamia in my drawer. I now have it on my night stand and use is every morning and evening (sometimes even during the day, since I spend most of my days at home). I love it because it's better than normal lip balm, it is a butter after all. I love the scent but I'm not a fan of the packaging since I find it very hard to open it sometimes. With colder months, my hands become very dry, so hand creme is a must. I have them scattered all over my room in my handbags, my laptop bag, backpack.... My favourite at the time is Weleda with pomegranate. It dries out quickly and leave my hands moistured and smelling very lovely. Next is a blush. When I first saw this one I thought to myself that this is a perfect shade for fall. It's Essence silky touch blush - 80 autumn peach. I'm using it every day! I have been eyeing with Revlon colorstay foundation for quite some time. When they had it on sale I deicided to buy it. I love that it has great coverage. I really wish it would come with a pump because it's so thick that I have troubles getting it out sometimes. But other than that it's great foundation and I will definitely repurchase it.

I have been wanting Essence  Lash princess mascara since I first saw a preview for it. The packaging is super cute. When I first tried it out I was dissapointed, but then I learned to work with this cobra shaped brush and have been loving it ever since. Essence mascaras are really great and cheap too. I have been painting my nails with Essie - sole mate (not on the pictures) most of the times, since it matches my burgundy boots perfectly. Our house was filled with cinnamon scent thanks to Yankee candle - home sweet home. It's a bit cristmassy scent, but it's also great for fall. I drink tea throughout the whole year. My all time favourite for years has been Twinings Vanilla tea.
